Linguistics and literary studies (E) - Academische bachelor
You'll choose two major languages from the six languages we offer (seven including our optional module Chinese) at the start of your bachelor's programme: Dutch, French, English, German, Spanish and Italian.
All courses are taught in the target language. For German, Italian and Spanish, courses start from scratch, and most students will have no or little proficiency in these languages at the start of the programme. For students of Dutch, however, a C1 level according to the Commom European Framework of Reference for Languages is required. Students of English and French need a minimum level of B2. During these three years, you’ll learn the basics of linguistic and literary analysis and will also be introduced to research methodology.
